Compared with traditional wood and plastics, Bio-fiber Plastic Composite materials or Wood Plastic Composites (generally known as WPC) manufactured by Qingdao Huasheng High-tech Development Co., Ltd. is a relatively new material. It contains bio-fibers and plastics: wood wastes, wheat straws, cotton stems, hemp sticks, hulls of crops and thermoplastics (PP、PET、ABS，nylon, etc., virgin or recycled) . Based on the technology of macromolecule interfacing and modification of plastic properties, the bio-fibers flour and PP/PET/ABS/nylon are compounded with certain additives and then undergo specific methods of processing (chiefly, extruding) to become a multi-purpose, recyclable material in a wide range of applications.

Our new composite embodies the properties and merits of both natural wood and plastic materials. It can be processed with traditional wood working methods: sawing, planing, bending and gluing; nails and screws can be applied. Our WPC looks and feels like natural wood, moreover, it has the advantage over natural lumber in its longer durability, warp/crack-free, fire resistance, water and rot resistance, as well as the advantage over pure plastics in its dimensional stability, endurance, weather resistance, creeping resistance in higher temperature and tenacity in lower temperature.

The theory life of WPC products is 50 years. Foreign countries verified its service life is more than 20 years.
